Harry Burgoyne Jnr Battles On Despite Penalty.

Fortec Motorsport’s Linus Granfors continued his weekend success at Silverstone, claiming his third consecutive GB4 victory amidst a weekend filled with exhilarating racing action. As Granfors soared to the top of the podium, KMR Sport's Harry Burgoyne faced adversity but showcased his resilience with a determined performance.

While Granfors basked in the glory of victory, Burgoyne found himself embroiled in the heat of competition. Despite a valiant effort that saw him finish third on the road, Burgoyne was dealt a setback as a 10-second penalty for a false start saw him drop to fifth post-race. However, his determination and skill shone through as he battled against fierce competition to secure a commendable result.

Elite Motorsport's Finn Harrison put on a spirited performance to clinch second place, while Arden Motorsport's Leon Wilson also impressed with a maiden podium finish in third after a remarkable comeback drive from fifth on the opening lap.

The race was not without its fair share of drama, with Alisha Palmowski of Elite Motorsport and KMR Sport's Brandon McCaughan facing their own challenges amidst the intense on-track action.

Granfors' hat-trick victory at Silverstone sees him surge to the top of the championship standings, holding a 14-point lead over Burgoyne as the series heads to Donington Park for the next rounds.

Despite the setback, Burgoyne remains undeterred, determined to bounce back stronger and continue his pursuit of success in the GB4 series.

Stay tuned for more updates on Harry Burgoyne's journey and his quest for victory in the upcoming rounds at Donington Park!
